Clinical Director

"I did not arrive at this work from the outside looking in. I arrived through my own becoming, through the beautiful, bruising, and ultimately liberating experience of choosing myself, again and again."

WHAT I SPECIALIZE IN

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE WORK

There is a particular kind of knowing that comes not from a textbook, but from lived experience, from navigating the distance between who the world told you to be and who you have always, quietly, known yourself to be. That is the knowing I bring into every room I enter, and into every therapeutic relationship I hold.

I came to Canada as a South Asian immigrant woman, carrying the richness of my heritage alongside the very real weight of starting over in a new country, building a professional identity, navigating cultural expectations, reconciling the woman I was trained to be with the woman I was becoming. That journey was not linear. It was messy, humbling, and at times deeply lonely. It also became the most profound source of clarity I have ever known.

Navigating the quietly exhausted version of success that had no room for the whole of me, the moment I turned toward psychology, toward the science of the inner world, something shifted. Not dramatically. Just inevitably. As if I had finally started walking in the right direction.
